What to know.
Simmons Farms is a small family farm near Bethel with a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and a weekend fall festival with hayrides, a cow train and a trebuchet that launches pumpkins across the field. Kids climb a hay bale playground and a rope spider web and pet Otis the donkey, and the farm store sells homemade jams, bacon jam and soup mixes.
